Adam currently serves as the Managing Director at Newport Advisory Partners, a  Washington DC based firm specializing in M&A and capital advisory. His expertise focuses on guiding clients through the complexities of the Energy Transition and disruptive technologies, primarily targeting early- to middle-stage private equity companies and firms.

 

Previously, Adam held the position of Head of Americas Sustainable & Climate Research at Citigroup’s Global Strategy and Macro Group, where he led cross-divisional initiatives in sustainable and climate research. In this role, he oversaw global sustainable debt initiatives, providing extensive advisory services and insightful market research. Before his tenure at Citigroup, Adam played a significant role at the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund’s Office of Investment Management, undertaking various leadership roles. As Head of Sustainable Investing, he was instrumental in overseeing the fund’s sustainable investments, securing new commitments, and fostering the development of innovative sustainable investing funds.

Adam’s influence extends beyond his professional capacities, establishing him as an industry leader. He previously chaired the CFA Society of New York’s Sustainable Investment Thought Leadership Group, where he managed a network of over 200 senior sustainable investment professionals. His involvement with the Economic Club of New York (ECNY) and his contributions to the Reporting & Assessment Advisory Committee of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) underscore his dedication to shaping the future of the industry.

Holding a Master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, Adam is both a Ronald Brown Fellow and a Hope Scholar. His commitment to continuous education and advancement in the sector is further evidenced by his roles as a Non-Resident Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at Columbia’s Center on Global Energy Policy, as well as an Adjunct Faculty member at New York University. There, he teaches courses on Financing the Global Energy Transition and Environmental Finance and Economics.

Chris Kellogg

Chris Kellogg is Senior Partner of Wallingford Partners, which orchestrates mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital restructurings, specializing in outsourced healthcare services nationally. Wallingford Partners has completed the sale of 136 businesses in 34 states, with sales ranged from $1.2 to $187.6M, aggregating just under $1B.

Mr. Kellogg serves on the Board of Directors for Elwyn of Elwyn, PA, the nation’s oldest and largest 501c3 caring for those with Autism, Down Syndrome, or behavioral challenges. Elwyn has over 6000 employees in 8 states serving nearly 20,000 clients daily. Mr. Kellogg serves as lead investor and Board of Advisors for Invaryant Health, a Roswell GA-based systems start-up focused on healthcare informatics.

Until the sale to a large Chicago-based venture fund, Mr. Kellogg served on the Board of Trend Health Partners, a Maryland-based payment recovery specialist working on behalf of payors and providers within the healthcare reimbursement space. Mr. Kellogg served as Board Member for StarCore Nuclear, an Annapolis-based nuclear power technology which was successfully acquired by a French consortium.

Mr. Kellogg completed baccalaureate education in Architecture Design and Engineering from Iowa State University in 1972. He lives just north of Naples, Florida with his wife of 52 years, Marsha. They are boating, pickleball and bicycling enthusiasts and have two daughters with six grandchildren.
